Chair of Community Planning West Dunbartonshire and Council Leader Councillor Martin Rooney, said: “We had a great response to the first round and we are seeing the funding making great benefit to communities across West Dunbartonshire. I would encourage all residents, particularly those living in Clydebank East , Faifley, Linvale & Drumry and Silverton & Overtoun who still have the full £25,000 available, to get together and come up with ideas on how they could spend the money in their area to improve their community.
Members of the Communities team will be on-hand to help with residents with project ideas and also offer assistance with applications. In addition if you have an idea that does not fit with the community funding budgeting, officers can offer advice on other streams of funding that could be accessed instead.”
