Easter Revision school will take place from Tuesday 2 April until Thursday 11 April.

This is an opportunity for S4, S5 and S6 pupils to have their revision supported over the Spring Break.

Easter revision school provides a concentrated period of focused study, allowing pupils to review key concepts, topics, and exam techniques in a short amount of time. This intensive review can help consolidate knowledge and reinforce understanding.

Again, our teachers bravely stepped forward, this time, to be on the receiving end of whipped cream-laden pastries!  It was a SPLAT-tastic event with funds raised for the up and coming school production of Sister Act.

As the last pie was thrown and the whipped cream settled, the event proved to be a success. Through their collective efforts, the school community had not only raised vital funds but also created lasting memories and strengthened bonds that would endure long after the last traces of cream had been wiped away.

There was some hair-raising action on Tuesday 26 March as teacher bravely endured leg waxing to raise funds for the school production of Sister Act.

Fellow pupils and teachers paid £1 to spectate at the event.  Our senior pupils performed the waxng, with Mr Downs having additional strips for extra funds for the show.  Mrs McInally and Mrs Logue happily peeled off the waxing strips from Mr Downs.

“It was agony at the time but it was for a worthwhile cause, I’m sure I will look great on holiday”, said Mr Mackenzie. Check out the pictures from the link below.

Studying for exams early means that you get to take your time with revision and avoid last minute cramming or rushing through topics.

West Dunbartonshire Council has launched a fun packed programme of free and engaging activities after investing £100,000 in summer activities for the next four years.

It is widely recognised that holiday periods add to the stress of poverty for some families and results in less access to food and social activity for them than their peers. SHINE (School Holidays Involve Nurture & Engage) works with local organisations and groups to increase provision of free social activities for school children over holiday periods including breakfast and lunch clubs.

CHS Cycle to Success is an excellent lesson through the eyes of the learner!

Last session our pupils created the 'Cycle to Sucess' to demonstrate the perfect lesson through the eyes of the actual pupil.

Every lesson should be broken into 4 stages; Respectful Routine, Forward Phase, Work Phase, Reflection Phase.
