Once we receive your Housing Application form we will send you a letter confirming we have it, and initially assess your application. We aim to do this within 5 working days.

To process fully there is often a number of supporting documents that we need.

In need of housing as health is made worse by current housing circumstances Medical assessment form completed
Access arrangements Letter from child's other parent or letter from a lawyer.
Under occupation/Overcrowding For transfer applicants we can access our own records. For all other applicants we require a copy of lease or sale document which confirms property size.

Also if you have, or have had a social housing tenancy in the last 5 years, we will ask for a tenancy reference from the landlord.

There are circumstances that require us to suspend your application from our waiting list. The reasons for doing this are set out in our Housing reference policy.  We will ensure that this is done for the minimum period of time and will always write to you to let you know the reason.
