2016 Clydeside Open Art Show
The Clydeside Open Art Show 2016 opens at Clydebank Museum and Art Gallery, Clydebank Town Hall, on Friday 11 November. The exhibition showcases a wide range of work by contemporary artists from across Scotland.
Following an unprecedented number of submissions, 2016’s exhibition includes 123 works by 90 artists. Reflecting the breadth of entries received, the exhibition includes fine art, jewellery, sculpture, textiles, and photography. All artwork is for sale.
Following the success of our Provost’s Prize, we’re also excited to introduce new for 2016 The People’s Choice Award. Over the course of the exhibition, visitors to the exhibition will have the chance to vote for their favourite work and all participants will be offered exclusive access to future Clydebank Museum and Art Gallery Private Views.
Throughout the exhibition we’re looking forward to welcoming a number of leading local artists to deliver a programme of demos and workshops, each showcasing a different artistic technique. Book places in December and January for demonstrations and workshops by leading artists and photographers as part of the Winter Festival Events Programme.
