The Dumbarton Town Centre Forum was originally established in 2010 to bring together all parties who have an interest in improving the town centre. Members include representatives from local business, community groups, community councils, local Elected Members, the local MSP & MP, Council officers and relevant agencies. Its role includes discussing and agreeing actions aimed at improving the town centre, identifying issues which need addressed, positively promoting the town centre, and exchanging information on projects and initiatives affecting the town centre. The Forum helps people to work together for the good of the town and local community. It also helps plan and gain opinions on projects and policies impacting the area as a framework for consultation.
