West Dunbartonshire Council has allocated £471,000 of Place Based Investment Programme (PBIP) to be used as Community Grants. Community groups based or delivering services within West Dunbartonshire were able to apply for new capital funding for projects to be delivered during 2024/25. Groups looking to produce Local Place Plans within West Dunbartonshire were also eligible to apply if their Local Place Plan supports the delivery of capital improvements to their area.

The money was split into a small grants lot (£71k for bids of up to £5,000) and a large grants lot (£400k for bids of £50,000 or more). Both grants must be used for capital investments and support the aims and objectives of the PBIP. Local Place Plans are eligible for up to £5,000 only.
