The Shopfront Improvement Grant is funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It can provide up to 80% of project expenditure, up to a maximum contribution of £10,000, towards shop front improvement works within the town centres of Alexandria, Clydebank and Dumbarton. Both landlords and tenants are eligible to apply. Further details and the application form are available here:
The first round of funding was piloted in Alexandria during 2023, where 13 businesses successfully applied for grant funding. It is now being rolled out to Clydebank before being introduced in Dumbarton later in 2024.
