Regeneration and Opportunities poster

The Regeneration Opportunities within West Dunbartonshire are set out in Council’s Infrastructure Investment Plan. A priority for the Council is creating attractive places for business, retail, residential and tourism development by re-using vacant, derelict and underused sites. Since the first Infrastructure Investment Plan was produced in 2012  there has been transformational change at Queens Quay in Clydebank, at Bowling and along the Dumbarton Waterfront. In the next 10 years, the Council and its partners will continue to build on these investments and focus regeneration efforts on the town centres of Dumbarton, Clydebank and Alexandria, the village of Balloch, Lomondgate and Vale of Leven Industrial Estate (VoLIE) and the North Clyde Riverbank. Details of the Regeneration Opportunities can be found in the brochure below.
