The Cold Calling initiative aims to give householders within the zones the confidence to say ‘no’ to cold calling salespeople.
Cold calling control zones
A cold calling control zone is an area where residents have agreed that they do not want traders to visit them without being invited.
The zones are designed to deter cold callers and educate and empower local consumers giving them the confidence to say 'no!'
We currently have five cold calling control zones within West Dunbartonshire Council boundaries. These include:
- Parkhall, Clydebank
- Hogan Court, Clydebank
- Nairn Place, Dalmuir
- Silverton, Dumbarton
- Wilson St, Alexandria
