Children in Brucehill can now enjoy a refurbished play park completed as part of a programme to enhance play areas across West Dunbartonshire.
The Council is undertaking work to renew and replace play equipment at a total of eight sites with the park at Brucehill’s Firthview Terrace the first one to be completed.
Meanwhile, work is continuing on the other parks throughout West Dunbartonshire, ensuring that children have safe and fun places to play in.
Convener of Infrastructure, Regeneration and Economic Development, Councillor David McBride, said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to visit this refurbished play park in Brucehill which will be a great resource for the young people who stay nearby.
“I am delighted that the Council is investing in equipment so children can enjoy the play parks in their communities.”
Vice Convener of Infrastructure, Regeneration and Economic Development, Councillor Lawrence O’Neill, said: “I am pleased that the Council has been able to deliver this project and hope that the young people here take the opportunity to enjoy their refurbished play park. I also look forward to seeing the other play areas as they are completed across West Dunbartonshire.”
