Families across West Dunbartonshire are being given the chance to enjoy a series of family fun days taking place during the Easter holidays.
The events will offer lawn games, pony petting, face painting, an art stand, small fairground rides, an inflatable slide and an ice cream van.
They are taking place on Sunday 6th April at Dalmuir Park, Levengrove Park on Wednesday 9th April, Balloch Park on Thursday 10th April and the final event will be held at Christie Park on Sunday 13th April.
There is no entry fee to the events which all take place between midday and 4pm and all the activities, including the fairground rides and the inflatable slide all free, having been funded by the Council’s cost of living fund.
Convener of Infrastructure, Regeneration and Economic Development, Councillor David McBride said: “It is a pleasure to be able to host these events again which bring families from across our communities together. We had great feedback from families who attended the events last year and were very keen to see the fun days returning this year. School holidays can be expensive and I am pleased we are able to run these events again this year at no cost to our families.
“The parks in West Dunbartonshire are great places to visit and I hope that people take advantage of the family fun days.”
Vice Convener of Infrastructure, Regeneration and Economic Development, Councillor Lawrence O’Neill added: “All children and families should get the chance to get together during the school holidays and these events give people the perfect opportunity to visit our parks and have fun.
“I look forward to seeing people from all over West Dunbartonshire making the most of the free activities.”
