West Dunbartonshire Council is seeking your views on the draft Sustainability Annex for the development of the former John Brown Shipyard, setting out a Sustainability Standard, as an annex to the Design Codes for Queens Quay.
West Dunbartonshire Council are committed to a sustainable future and Queens Quay has an important role to play in meeting zero carbon targets. The draft Sustainability Annex aims to ensure that new buildings within Queens Quay are built to the highest possible standards of sustainable construction and therefore sets out the standards that all developers require to meet. This approach will enable residents and other occupiers of the site to maximise the benefits of lower energy and heat costs, as well as contributing towards a low or carbon neutral future for Queens Quay.
Unfortunately Council buildings are not open to the public due to the Covid 19 restrictions currently in place. If you are unable to access the annex on the Council website and require an alternative format please let us know at the email address below.
