The Council is consulting on an updated draft of the Pay Day Lending and Betting Shop Planning Guidance. The guidance is intended to control the number and clustering of pay day lending and betting shops within town centres. The guidance is accompanied by a Background Information document containing the evidence that underpins the guidance.
We are seeking feedback on the approach taken in the guidance and if there is any other evidence we should consider.
The consultation will be open from 13th May 2024 at 9:00am to 5th of July 2024 at 5:00pm.
