West Dunbartonshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, had made the above named Order, by reason of it being in the interests of road safety, optimising journey time reliability for public transport, minimising congestion and delays for road users.
The Order may also make it unlawful for any person to cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load only when and where indicated by signs on both sides of the complete lengths of road the A814 Glasgow Road from the junction with North Elgin Street, eastwards to the junction with Mill Road; and Dock Street between the junction with the A814 Glasgow Road to the proposed Dock Street Roundabout.
The restrictions will be implemented on Friday 31 May 2024 at 00:00.
