Section 14 RTRA 1984 – 5 day notice

Notice is hereby given that under Section 14 of the Roads Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA), as amended and by any other relevant legislation, use of the following roads by the undernoted types of use / classes of vehicle will be prohibited for the stated period of time.

Name of Road:

1. Bridge Street, Dumbarton
2. Clydeview, Clydeshore Road, Helenslee Road, Comelybank Road, Dixon Drive, Dixon Avenue, Kirkton Road, School Lane, Levenford Terrace, Vier Terrace, Woodyard Road, West Bridgend, Access to Leven & Lomond Court, Bowie Street.

Restriction:

1. Road Closure on Bridge Street between High Street and Woodyard Road
2. No waiting/loading at any time when appropriate signs are in place.

Date of Restrictions: From 5 November 2024 for up to 5 days when appropriate signs displayed.

Reason for Restriction: Fireworks Display.

Classes of Vehicle Prohibited: All classes except emergency service vehicles, those permitted by signs & those engaged in authorised road works. Type of Notice: Section 14 RTRA 1984 – 5 day notice.

The alternative route(s): All restrictions will only be applied as and when signed / required and kept to a minimum. Access to property and for pedestrians will be maintained. Access for vehicles will only be possible where permitted by signs or by the contractor from one or other side of the closure. Emergency vehicles must note that access through the closure likely to be prevented between closure extents. Any arrangements regarding access to adjoining farms will be made directly by contractor. Bus routes will be effected. Vehicle diversions routes may involve High Street, A814 Glasgow Road and West Bridgend.
