Easy to get involved - we will do everything possible to support you to get involved, this includes meeting your individual needs, providing transport to meetings and childcare costs where required.

Please contact us if you’re interested in any of the consultations and look out for adverts in the Housing News.

We will also make sure that whenever we consult you, we will tell you how your views made a difference and will share the outcome widely.

Annual rent setting consultation

The Council has a statutory duty to consult with tenants about the rent it charges. We are also improving transparency around the Housing Revenue Account and the decisions behind setting rent levels.

2017/1818 Annual Charter Performance Report for Tenants and other customers

 The Council reports our performance against the Outcomes outlined in the Scottish Social Housing Charter on an annual basis in October each year.

The style, format and content of the report was developed in conjunction with tenants and each year we seek feedback to see where improvements can be made.

Review of Service  Standards

We report our performance against agreed Service Standards in each edition of the Housing News. The service standards were created with tenants and focus on the most significant aspects of service for tenants.

Review to see if tenant priorities have changed and if changes to the service standards are needed.

Clydebank East – Pre Planning Consultation

The site currently houses 3 vacant tower blocks and 4 maisonette blocks that will be demolished later in 2019. Looking to create a lower-rise townhouse and flatted development of around 120 units -around 50  will be developed by WDC  for social housing and rest privately.

Review of Sheltered Housing Service Standards

We have 9 sheltered housing complexes owned by Housing Services and jointly run with HSCP . The service standards set out what sheltered tenants can expect and were created in 2013 and included in the sheltered housing tenant handbook. Consultation is to review the standards and ensure that they are relevant and measurable.
