Our new Tenant Participation Strategy for 2021-24 was agreed at the Housing & Communities committee on 3 February 2021.

Our aim is to continue to improve Housing Services by working with tenants to develop and influence how services are provided. This is our 5th Strategy and we want to continue to ensure tenants can be meaningfully involved in decision-making about their homes as well ensuring the services we provide offer value for money, are effective and offer real benefits to our tenants and communities.

We are keen to encourage tenants to get involved. We offer support , training if needed and travelling expenses to ensure there are no barriers to getting involved.

Volunteering can also be really personally rewarding – it’s also a great way to build confidence and have on your CV. We can provide a reference for anyone who volunteers in any of our participation activities for at least 6 months.
