Women have always been 50% of the population, but only occupy around 0.5% of recorded history. Florence Boyle is taking a step towards redressing this. In her book “Undeservedly Forgotten” a series of sketches of local West Dunbartonshire women, Florence explores the stories of women you may never have heard of, who made their mark, were trailblazers in their time, but somehow have been forgotten.
This volume (hopefully there will be more) covers the period from the 1850s to the 1920s. Join us to hear about some amazing local women.
