Saturday 11 January ( 10:15 - 12:15 )

Clydebank Library , Glasgow Road Clydebank

From a starting point of a single flower this workshop is a two hour journey ending with a completed painting developed from a swift drawing of a single bloom. Artists might use an initial simple line drawing to create a repeat pattern on a larger scale using selected colours to express ideas of beauty in growth and energy in nature. Alternatively the single drawing can be completed with watercolour taking inspiration from the flower paintings of, for example Charles Rennie Mackintosh or any other chosen artist.

All materials provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
