Secondary and some primary schools have facilities available to the public outside of school hours and school terms.
Our secondary schools have sports and other facilities which are available for you to let. School facilities are available for booking by individuals and groups throughout the community.

Please note that the outdoor facilities at Dumbarton Academy are not available for booking.
All applications must be requested through the online applications form below.
We do not accept requests by telephone.
Please refer to the Letting Regulations before completion of the application form.
All letting requests must provide a minimum of 10 days’ notice of advance of their first required date.
Fees
Information on fees is available for both Primary and Secondary school lets.
If there is no payment within 7 calendar days of original request / confirmation, your let will be withdrawn and made available to others.
The Council's insurance does not cover any events or lets held on school premises. Therefore, groups and individuals must obtain their own Public Liability Insurance.
If you wish to have alcohol at an event you must apply for permission, please contact us at education.lets@west-dunbarton.gov.uk for further support.
For occasional lets, we expect payment before completion of the let. Once your let has been confirmed, a member of the CAS team will contact you by telephone to accept payment.
For sessional lets, we will issue a single invoice to cover your full let. The invoice details the full cost of your let and outlines your payment options, i.e. payment in full or payment by standing order. If you choose to pay in instalments and default on a payment your let may be withdrawn and any future lets refused.

For all lets, requests by the school will be given priority. It may be necessary to cancel your let. If your let is cancelled for this reason, you will be refunded in full / given appropriate credit.
If you require to cancel your let, please contact the CAS support team on education.lets@west-dunbarton.gov.uk, with a minimum of 3 working days notice. If your cancellation is for an occasional let and you do not provide 3 working days notice, you will be charged for use of the premises.
