Diced Beef 1.5kg
Onions 500g
Water 1.5l
Puff Pastry brushed with milk 600g Wheat / Gluten/milk
Semi-skimmed milk 10ml milk
Beef Bouillon 50g Celery
Gravy Granules 30g Milk, Soya
Cornflour 30g

Method

  • Brown Beef and onions, add water and beef bouillon. Bring to the boil and simmer for 1.5hrs - 2hrs or until meat is tender.
  • Add gravy granules and cornflour then bring back to the boil.
  • Divide stew mixture into trays. Roll out puff pastry into 20 3" x 3" portions, brush milk and cook until risen and golden brown.
  • Cooked pastry portions to be laid out on top of stew for serving.
