What better place to spend relaxed, quality time with your baby than in the library. Not only do we have a wealth of beautiful board and picture books along with our parenting collections but we also run baby massage sessions. Our sessions focus on babies between 8 weeks until able to roll independently. Baby massage is an excellent opportunity share special moments with your baby helping to develop that loving bond between you and your child. Baby massage is a touch therapy that helps to provide healthy development in your baby's first months and gives them the feeling of security that they require.
Giving your baby a massage will relax you as well as them!
Sessions last approximately one hour with time for parents and carers to have a natter at the end as well as browsing our book collections.
The beauty of Yoga is that it benefits children of every age group. Our sessions focus on babies between 8 weeks until able to roll independently. We balance relaxation with stretching sequences thus improving babies balance and co-ordination, stimulating their senses and encouraging brain development through cross lateral movements. The session helps strengthen the parent-baby bond through fun interactions and we incorporate songs and rhymes that are coordinated with movements and there are a few moves for the adults too.
Sessions last approximately one hour with time for parents and carers to have a natter at the end as well as browsing our book collections.
