What is Bookbug?
Bookbug sessions are fun, free 30 minute sessions for babies, toddlers and their Parents & Carers.They include songs, action rhymes and sharing stories with time afterwards to browse our library stock.
Makaton Bookbug sessions?
Our Makaton Bookbug sessions are specially tailored ASN sessions to include Makaton and symbols. *Places are very limited*.
Booking a session
Due to the limited spaces available, all sessions must be pre-booked on Eventbrite prior to attending.
Session dates for 2024/25:
- From Monday 6th January 2025 until Saturday 5th April 2025
- From Tuesday 22nd April 2025 until Saturday 28th June 2025 (libraries closed Monday 5th May 2025)
- Summer specials (at least 2 per branch) - dates TBC
- From Monday 18th August 2025 until Saturday 20th December 2025 (libraries closed Monday 29th September 2025)
- From Monday 5th January until Thursday 4th April 2026
