Section 50 Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005

Under Section 50 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act a Building Standards Certificate is required to support an application for a license to permit the sale or use of alcohol. This certificate will indicate the status of any works carried out to a property under a Building Warrant and whether completion of these works either temporary or full has been granted. This information assists the Licensing Board in determining the license application.

The application fee for a Section 50 certificate is £280.00

Notification for a change of Agent

This form is to be used to notify the Council of a change of Agent in respect of a Building Warrant file.   You should be aware that all future correspondence/certification will be sent to your new Agent.

There is no charge for this application.
