The Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 requires all local authorities to carry out a review of the polling districts and polling places for UK parliamentary constituencies within their boundaries every five years.
In carrying out this review, councils must seek to ensure that all electors (people who have the right to vote in an election) in parliamentary constituencies within their areas have such reasonable facilities for voting as are practicable in the circumstances and that, so far as is reasonable and practicable, every polling place within the area is accessible to electors who are disabled.
We invite you to submit representations on the polling districts and polling places for the West Dunbartonshire County Constituency.

A copy of the Returning Officer’s representations on each individual polling place and relevant floor plans and maps of the proposed polling district boundaries are available for inspection at main libraries; the Council Offices, Church Street, Dumbarton and online at the voting and elections page
All representations should be sent to Alan Douglas, Chief Officer - Regulatory and Regeneration by e-mail at elections@west-dunbarton.gov.uk or by letter to the Election Office, Municipal Buildings, College Street, Dumbarton, G82 1NR.
The closing date for representations is Monday, 13 November 2023 and all representations received will be reported to the Council at its meeting on Wednesday, 20 December 2023 when it considers final approval of the scheme.
