Recycling Centres will be closed on

- Friday 2 January 2026
All communal recycling points remain open during the festive period.
Dalmoak Recycling Centre - disruption
Due to the recycling centre being extremely busy with excess Christmas waste, skips are needing to be emptied more
often. This is in turn causing temporary closures of the site for approximately 15-20 minutes for safety reasons.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
There are 2 Recycle Centres in West Dunbartonshire. These are located at Dalmoak, near Renton, Ferry Road in Old Kilpatrick.
No commercial waste is permitted to be disposed of at any of the Household Recycling sites.
